To increase shelf life of Red chili powder or Turmeric, add small pieces of hing (khada hing) and keep the the spices in air tight container.लाल तिखट किंवा हळद साठवणीसाठी भरताना त्यात खडा हिंगाचे लहान तुकडे टाकून ठेवावेत. त्यामुळे लाल तिखट व हळद नेहमीपेक्षा जास्त दिवस टिकते.
